Arriving at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport? Our guide helps you discover the most reliable cab service in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Don't worry about overpaying by calculating your fare in advance.
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is the primary international airport serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. It is the largest hub for American Airlines and one of the largest airports in the world. Being centrally located between the two major cities, DFW offers excellent taxi connectivity to both Dallas and Fort Worth.
Taxi stands are located on the lower level of Terminals A, B, C, D, and E, near the baggage claim areas. A taxi coordinator is available at each stand between 8:00 AM and 12:00 AM to assist passengers. All taxis are metered unless a flat rate has been pre-arranged for long-distance travel outside the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
| Destination | Estimated Fare | Approx. Time | Service |
|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown Dallas | $45 - $55 | 25-40 mins | Metered |
| Downtown Fort Worth | $50 - $65 | 30-45 mins | Metered |
| Arlington (Entertainment District) | $35 - $45 | 15-25 mins | Metered |
| Plano (Legacy West) | $60 - $80 | 35-50 mins | Metered |
| Love Field Airport (DAL) | $40 - $55 | 20-35 mins | Metered |
*A $4.00 DFW Airport exit fee is added to all fares. Gratuity is typical but at the passenger's discretion.
DFW is massive—larger than the island of Manhattan. If you're heading to Arlington for a game or concert, a taxi is often more reliable than trying to coordinate a rideshare meeting point in the crowds. Always check your arrival terminal as walk times to taxi stands can vary.
